Over the next few months, we will be presenting Citrix Developer Focus, a series of free, online mini-conferences bringing you live, topical content from experts at Citrix and our technical community. Each event will be aimed at coders, scripters, and builders in a particular region of the world. That means everyone will get the opportunity to participate without having to get up early or stay up late.

Our first Developer Focus, on Wednesday June 9, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Central European Summer Time), will cater to our community in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with an afternoon of presentations on DevOps and scripting. After a brief introduction from the Citrix Developer Ecosystem team, Patrick van den Born, an independent consultant and CTP based in the Netherlands, will explain how to apply DevOps to end-user computing, with a practical look at deploying Windows 10 Enterprise multi-session via tools such as Terraform, Packer and Azure DevOps.

Guy Leech, another independent consultant and CTP, will join us from England, to give Citrix admins a gentle introduction to PowerShell for exploring and troubleshooting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops deployments. The third technical session will feature your faithful author and Citrix Director of Developer Evangelism Pat Patterson. I’ll be covering the new scripting functionality in Citrix Workspace microapps.

We’ll finish by kicking off our next microapps hackathon, giving you the opportunity to compete with your peers for fun prizes and the title of EMEA Hackathon Champion! We’re keeping the mission under wraps until the day of the event, but you can get up to speed with microapps between now and then by following the learning journey and our scripting tutorial.

Register today to join us for an afternoon packed with learning and opportunity.
