Last year, the Citrix Cloud team announced general availability of Citrix Cloud Government. Built directly on Microsoft Azure Government, this platform is designed for local, state, and federal government agencies (and the commercial organizations that work with them). It’s a U.S. government-grade cloud that’s infrastructure as a service.

We’re excited to announce that these government customers and their partners can take advantage of Citrix Endpoint Management (CEM) with Citrix Cloud Government. Now, local, state, and federal customers in the U.S. have a solution to manage their endpoints in compliance with government regulations and in a secure infrastructure that meets their requirements.

We know that these customers and their partners customers sometimes struggle to keep government issued endpoints within compliance. With CEM and Citrix Cloud Government, those struggles are a thing of the past. Why?

  • First, all traffic and services for CEM Government are specifically hosted separate from our commercial customers on a cloud platform designed for public agencies. Traffic and services on our commercial cloud platform are treated independently.
  • Second, CEM Government will only store minimal device and user metadata such as device type and associated users in approved government resource locations.
  • Third, government customers can keep endpoints in compliance with CEM’s rich set of policies and controls, which are compatible with today’s mobile platforms.

CEM on Citrix Cloud Government is another great win for public agencies and their partners and will help empower their mobile workforce.
