The long-awaited Cloud Reference Architecture for Citrix Service ProvidersĀ is live!

Partners are embracing Citrix Cloud, with 67 percent planning to use one or more of these services in their business, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service shows the highest usage levels.

In the past two years, we have heard from Citrix Service Providers (CSPs), that multi-tenant support is critical for partners to adopt our cloud services because their customer base comes primarily from small businesses, 72 percent of which have subscriptions covering fewer than 100 seats. Along with the exciting announcement of the availability of multi-tenant support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop service for CSPs, the long-awaited Cloud Reference Architecture for Citrix Service Providers is available.

This is the first version of the CSP reference architecture based on Citrix Cloud, and it introduces new concepts for hosting customers in shared and dedicated tenant resource locations of partner cloud service instances, as well as the existing linked partner-customer cloud accounts.

This version of the reference architecture focuses on the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service for CSPs and is intended to help them scale from a small subscriber base to an extensive volume of users across multiple tenants, locations, and hybrid and multi clouds. The team ā€” Darren Harding, Jose Augustin, JP Alfaro, Nick Haw, and others who contributed to the review and validations ā€” will expand the scope of the reference architecture to cover the overall workspace services for CSPs in future versions.
