We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 09/14, 11:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 09/14, 00:00 UTC and that during the 11 hours that it took to resolve the issue customers who attempted to use the Application Insights configuration blade for ASE-based App Services / Function Apps may have seen message :"Error displaying your content" globally. The Application Insights configuration blade for non-ASE App Services / Function Apps are not impacted.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issue with one of our dependent service.

Root cause has been isolated to issue  with Application Insights configuration blade. Customers who are attempting to use the Application Insights configuration blade for ASE-based App Services / Function Apps may see message :"Error displaying your content" globally. The Application Insights configuration blade for non-ASE App Services / Function Apps are not impacted.
