It’s that time of the year again! SpringOne 2021 is just around the corner and Microsoft is excited to be participating in a big way this year. With a keynote, six breakout sessions, and a hands-on workshop, there’s lots of options to connect and see what we’ve been up to the past year.

At SpringOne 2020, we announced the general availability of Azure Spring Cloud. Azure Spring Cloud is a fully managed service that lets you run your Spring Boot and .NET Core applications without the hassle of managing infrastructure. Just deploy your source code or build artifacts, and the service will automatically wire your app with the Spring Cloud infrastructure.

Since then, we’ve seen customers like Kroger, Swiss Re, and Raley’s use Azure Spring Cloud in amazing ways. This year, you’ll hear from more customers on how they are running Spring apps at scale, along with sessions from top-notch presenters. Read on to learn about all the sessions from Microsoft; you can also watch this short video to get a preview. We were feeling a little nostalgic, so we included some memories from past events.

Speaking of nostalgia, we got started with Spring on Azure all the way back in 2016 when we started collaborating with Pivotal. Spring developers wanted to interact with Azure services more easily, and they continued to ask us to make it easier to run their apps at scale. That’s what led us to work with Pivotal (now VMware) to create Azure Spring Cloud. We’ve come a long way since 2016, and this year at SpringOne you’ll see even more innovation on helping developers run their Spring applications at enterprise scale.

Microsoft at SpringOne

Microsoft has our biggest ever presence at SpringOne this year. We’re excited to share a range of sessions across topics, all in close partnership with VMware.
