As we celebrate our five-year anniversary of being a Citrix Channel partner, Alchemy Technology Group is using this occasion to reflect on the successes Citrix has helped us achieve as a technology reseller, as well as the successes we’ve ultimately been able to achieve on behalf of our customers.

A History of Customer Success

To say that Citrix has been crucial in our success as a technology consultant and vendor would be an understatement. In the first three years of our partnership, Citrix was responsible for well over 60 percent of Alchemy’s revenue. Our initial focus as a consultancy was centered around user experience (UX), and Citrix has been elemental in making that focus a reality.

A newer (yet extremely important) aspect of the UX conversation today revolves around security. Adversaries are constantly evolving their tactics to compromise enterprise ecosystems, and a layered approach to security is critical. There are a million facets to a modern, comprehensive enterprise security game plan.

Alchemy has made a tremendous investment in security, and we have been pleased that Citrix has done the same with its offerings. Citrix is the industry standard in several categories — namely secure remote access. The question of whether data will be compromised is no longer an IF, but a WHEN. Every business must be considering vulnerabilities within all layers of their IT stack and trust their established security framework. This is the reason we advise our clients to adopt Citrix secure solutions — because we have witnessed over the years that their priorities from a security perspective have aligned with our sales goals and our customers’ requirements.

Commitment to Innovation Through Co-Creation

One of the primary reasons for our successful partnership is that Citrix clearly values the channel community and has built a thriving business around that model. Throughout our partnership, as unexpected circumstances have arisen, Citrix has continued to foster a model of trust and collaboration for the benefit of its partners and customers.

We continue to help champion Citrix’s solutions given their unparalleled capabilities in terms of security, functionality, and adaptability. But what truly sets Citrix apart from other vendors is that Citrix prioritizes the perpetual innovation of their own solutions. Many vendors choose to stay relatively stagnant in the channel and be a one-trick pony selling their bread-and-butter solutions, but few of them work to continuously solicit and incorporate feedback from customers and vendors, as Citrix does, to evolve according to their needs and create the best solutions for the user.

Additionally, through Citrix’s Channel Incentive Program, we at Alchemy are encouraged to continue to invest in our partnership — which results in more opportunities to grow our employee headcount and, ultimately, bring the best solutions to market for our customers. The Citrix Channel Incentive Program makes it easier for both of our businesses to work together, and our ongoing conversations with Citrix product development teams around optimizing solutions continue to benefit our customers.

As the business world progresses with more complicated technology needs, Alchemy will build on the bedrock of success we have established to date through Citrix solutions. We remain confident that the next five years will be as incredible as the first five as we guide customers toward Citrix solutions and, in turn, work with Citrix to help iterate and improve the next generation of secure remote access technologies.
