Experiencing Data Access issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types - 08/25 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 8/25, 08:40 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 8/25, 7:10 UTC and that during the 90 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers may have experienced intermittent Data access, Data latency, Data gaps, incorrect alert activation and issues with missed or delayed Log Search Alerts in East Asia region.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue with one of the dependent services.
  • Incident Timeline: 90 minutes - 8/25, 7:10 UTC through 8/25, 8:40 UTC.
We understand that customers rely on Azure Monitoring as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

We are aware of issues within Azure Monitor and are actively investigating. Some customers may experience Data Access, Data latency, Data gaps and alerting failures in East Asia region.
